A year ago was the last announcement so I decided that I needed a NEW one.

we just got back about a week ago after over 7 months offline. It just feels right like my favorite underwear.

ok.. I don't know HOW I crafted this artwork. It's kinda like "rate my poo" dot com. You struggle and struggle over the bowl. You PUSH and sweat. Having NO IDEA, you stand up afterwards after wiping several thousand times, chafing your bunger, and look into the bowl as you flush... and you see your life, your death, everything in between in a sweet precious song encapsulated in a rainbow of feelings that overwhelm you....

I had intended to get the project done and out the door within a couple of weeks like I did with the STP essentials cd:

I burned the Eminem cds.... got the stack of them right here in empty jewel cases.
I went to to the artwork for the inserts and that's where shit got delayed.
First, I ran out of color ink for the printer. Then, Heller and those assholes got the site pulled off the net.
Through a series of changing jobs (I'm on my third one this year now  ) and other personal stuff going on, I hadn't had the time or whatever it was.
I've gone pretty hardcore in my spare time the last week or so getting the site back up, and now it's time to print the inserts and get these fuckers mailed out.
I have most of the addresses that I need, but if yours has changed since January, let me know so I send it to the right place.
It's still a project that I am very stoked about, I just got sidetracked for about 5 months I apologize. I hate it when people tell me that they're going to do something and then don't. It's one of my peeves, so I try to always be good to my word. If I say something, I like to be known as dependable that I will follow through.
So just a little more time, and before you know it, it will be in your sweaty little hands, mmmmkay?

at the army... I was getting a message about flood control and couldn't post.
at hitchworld, it was posting in the right order, but the times are off.
the problem is the server time was 12 hours off for a few days. now that someone has reset it....
if you posted at 9 am this morning, it posted it as 9pm. then now that it's right,
the server won't let you post at
5pm because it thinks you have already posted at 9:00pm.
yes it's fucked up but in a few hours it wont matter if they dont get it fixed by then.
oddly, i only got the flood message at the army.
my antiquated software just posted my post (see your cartoon thread where I posted and check
it against the time of the previous post)
send this email to anyone else that was having problems so they know, and let me know if it doesn't fix itself or does something different

Ok. I need some feedback on these piece of shit graphics I made over the weekend that I debuted on the Forum index page for "new posts" and "no new posts"
Perhaps you noticed them?
Perhaps not. Sometimes I look at them and think they are WAY fucking cool and other times it looks like some shit I made unprofessionally and all that.
Here's the backstory... Part of having this piece of shit site that I have, and the discussion forums is to learn all that is learnable and report back to the creator. Nah, that's Star Trek.. but the same idea. I used to visit Sarge's site way way back when it was fucking frames and no discussion boards, all bootleg videos and all that. I was way impressed on how his site has evolved. That dude knows his shit. I'd say, 80-90% of everything that I learned, it was directly from him telling how stupid I was for doing certain things certain ways and then helping me correct them. The dude's Kung Fu is the best!!!
I digress. Sarge is the fucking man, and I hold one rule unto him sacred- I will directly shoplift shit from any other website but his. He's very sensitive about that shit, he's a proud guy and all I think he wants is proper credit for his innovations. A true artist. Give him credit where he helps out, but don't steal.
It's FUCKING HARD NOT TO, man!!! Every detail of the Roth Army- back to the day I first visited it- was waaay beyond other shit I had seen. I was so impressed I think the first time (only time) I ever went out of my way to call any fucking webmaster and compliment was back in 99 sometime- fuck I am sure it was before VH split with Cherone and the reunion looked like the sure thing- anyway I called Chris and we shot the shit, I told him I loved the army and keep up the good work and all that.
So the dude has done ALOT for me. I want to innovate like him, but how do you not COPY or right out steal? I've had hit and miss on that. Sometimes I'll do shit and go "well that'll piss the guy off, it's too rip-offish", and change it, and there are two very subtle graphics I have shoplifted at the main site and are here that I wanna replace before he notices that they were taken. If you pay attention you'll know what they are but HEY I still broke my cardinal rule.
Well enough of sucking the guys ass, but hey he deserves it and let me summarize that if he were to one day ban me from the army and wipe out this site, completely turn his back on me, I don't think I'd ever badmouth the guy for it. He's done so much for me, I think I'm more appreciative for all he's done than focus on how the shit ended. Hell, I can guarantee I'd still be singing the Army praises, satisifaction in what we had done here...
Ok. So Sarge has the "new post" diver down animated diver down flags, I thought that was so cool than the usual "stock" folder and burning folder, or even taking those "stock" folders and putting EVH stripes on them.
So I had the concept of what I wanted to do- Good weather, bad weather... New posts, No new posts.. Sunny, rainy... you get the idea. But there were no graphics out there, believe me I LOOKED!!! Secondly I preferred animated graphics. Man I looked for 2 weeks...I was getting discouraged and giving up on the idea altogether- UNTIL......
I log onto AOL. In that main window in the center of the screen that pops up it has "your forecast". I see this Happy Sunshine- just about the way I envisioned it- with a couple of clouds. Also just about the right size. NOT ANIMATED THOUGH.
So I save it. Then I check out my forecast and it's increasingly cloudy to full-on rain over the 6-day. These are cool graphics, but by themselves not what I wanted. Could I merge them together into an animated pattern?
YES. I figured how to do the SUN. I changed the word "fair" to "new" and rotated the sun over several frames and made it line up in the same place, gave it a transparent background and saved it as an animated GIF. I liked it.
The AOL rain graphics were cool but like caveman scrwalings on the wall. When I lined them up and animated them, it just didn't flow like a cartoon. So I went back in, added frames, colored parts that weren't colored to make them swell, drop the water, flash lightning, all that.
So for all you AOL users, next time you log on, notice those graphics and see where upon I stoleth. u huhuhuh uh u huh h uh.
A couple of other graphics I tried to innovate:
 
These are very special to me. I always have mixed feelings about these as well. These are created from my dougSCRIPT font, which is available HERE or at the FIGHT CLUB download page. Basically I had a font creator program, wrote the alphabet about 2000 times and picked each letter as I did it best and individually scanned them all and created my own font. Talk about work, but when I print something in this font, it looks EXACTLY like my handwriting but very well aligned. It was worth it.
Others:
From a still IP gif that Sarge gave me. I think it's originally from OUTLOOK EXPRESS. Any, my version of animating it is a direct plagiarism of Sarge's animated IP graphic. The timing is diff, and I chose to make my first frame (computer off) hitchWORLD© orange, the 2nd frame (computer on) hitchWORLD© teal.
This I am 100% proud of and don't look back on. This DLR graphic I created as an icon in 1998. This is 100% me and I think it looks cool. I am the most comfortable with this and I think it makes a great "profile" graphic.
This one I admit I stole, but I did scour the net for about 2 days to find. So give me credit for that! Anyway, I plan to modify it and the animation when I get time....
When I get time! Geez! I haven't even updated the hitchWORLD© main page in so long because I have been obsessed about learning about this site.
How could I forget THESE Christmas BULBS???

When I decided, two weeks ago, to change my discussion foums from easyboard to the ikonboard that Tim created I was excited about the possibilites. I was honored that Tim wanted to pay tribute to hitchworld.
It has become clear to me these past few days that my name is being used to wage Tim's personal war against the Pleasure Dome and the people there. I've talked to Tim about it, posted at MY forums about it. While I have had my problems at the Dome in the past, creating a discussion board soley based on a premise to bash and generate traffic, where half the registered members are goofs on actual Dome users, was never what my old forums were about.
I originally wanted a guestbook for hitchworld where I could interact with people, maybe we could discuss stuff. If people showed up, cool, if not, cool. No pressure. Read, post, ignore it altogether and never come back- whatever you want. Some days I'd have 30 total hits and no posts, (that was alot of days) or maybe I'd post something outrageous at hitchworld and I'd get 30 posts and 400 hits that day. It didn't matter to me. People could hang out if they wanted, there was absolutely no pressure on me to post there. It seemed natural and the vision I had intended. If it grew, then good, if not, whatever. But atleast it was MINE, right down to my cheasy logo and graphics and the faggotFUCKEDUP teal and orange- and I only had myself to take the credit, or be accountable for it, as the case may be.
The two reasons I went to Tim's board is that I was honored that he'd create it for me, and the allure of not having popup widows at the board. That's it. I wanted him to be free to do everything else per his own vision. It seemed a fair trade-off to have someone else doing all the work. That laziness of mine always gets me in the end... I didn't feel quite right at first- but when I saw other people feeling the same way and started hearing back the same thing from other people- I could no longer deny the truth.
I'm not ragging on Tim, I think his forums are great- but, they are not me. I made a decision without thinking about it, the possible consequences of it. For this reason, I accept full responsibility for things not working out. It's Tim's board, not mine. I can't expect him to not have his own vision of how it will be... and I can't demand that he do things my way. As you all know, I am an arrogant CONTROL FREAK asshole- I should have KNOWN this wasn't going to work, simply because of my arrogance.
I don't know what Tim is gonna do, I've made suggestions, but who knows. He's a cool dude, and I wish him total success in whatever he was trying to accomplish with that board. Hell, he can leave my name and logo on it for all I care. And I'm not asking anyone to stop posting there. I will even post there if he still lets me. I just wanted all of you to know what's going on, and what I am up to. I want to try to make my own board, host it at ACTUALLY at hitchworld, where I am ACTUALLY an admin. The prototype board is up, I still need to tweak it- and for a little while hitchworld will still link to Tim's discussion forums until I can actually talk to Tim and get my board done.
I wanted to thank all of you for registering at Tim's hitchworld (timmyWORLD?), apologize to everyone that I could contact (I just went down the memberlist and chose the screennames that I am sure are REAL- which you can tell is NOT 89 members) for switching boards three times in the last month. And I want all of you to have the link to the new place so you can raid it if you want before it opens:
