Last winter I sat down to mull together some of the coolest Stone Temple Pilots tunes for a "best of" sorta deal.
I saw that they had released a "best of" cd called "Only The Phattest", but I disagreed with a few of the selections and MORE was disappointed on what they FORGOT TO INCLUDE.
I been putting this selection of tunes together mentally since 12-28-01 when I wanted to do this originally.
I never had enough hd space to adequately do what I wanted to do... until now that is!
I've been cleaning house this week on the hd, I got out all my relevant STP cds... grabbed a few things essential off winMX.
Goddammit if I haven't come up with almost 80 minutes of THE BEST Stone Temple Pilots you'll ever need. This is "play it straight through, not a clinker in the bunch".
I knew that this project had to be bigger than all the time I had put into it. Fuckin' STP are the 90s Van Halen, in my book. Album after album, well, with Weiland anyway when he's not junked out on heroin, let me reiterate that it's all pretty fuckin' tasty!!! I wanted to get THE BEST, the hitchWORLD© essentials- the fucking stranded on a desert island bullshit- and for the next 24 hours, I'm gonna burn discs for anyone that wants one. I'm even gonna design full-on kick ass jewel cases with the hitchworld logo and all that.
The complete package.... fucking 3 day mailed out to you on monday from the Windsor post office!!!
